Instrument Maintenance Technician

Location: Mebane, North Carolina, United States; the position also references Durham, North Carolina. Travel: 50% of the time.

What you will do

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot instrumentation used in air-separation processes.
• Install, adjust, calibrate, and maintain manual, pneumatic, electric, and electronic measuring and regulating instruments.
• Maintain and inspect mechanical and electrical plant systems and equipment.
• Support quality control and assurance equipment, including process analyzers and gas chromatographs.
• Maintain calibration standards, testing equipment, measuring equipment, and calibration gas cylinders.
• Maintain and troubleshoot compressors, pumps, turbines, valves, motors, and other plant equipment while promoting safe operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 5 years of experience maintaining instrumentation and electrical systems in technical industrial environments.
• Ability to travel 50% of the time.
• Ability to work with manufacturer instructions, local procedures, and applicable regulations.

Nice to have

• At least two years of college, technical school, or military technical experience.
