Electro-Mechanical Technician

What you will do

• Maintain and repair engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
• Wire and install AC/DC motors, drives, racks, and motion control equipment.
• Work with production personnel, contractors, vendors, and OEMs to diagnose and repair plant equipment.
• Fabricate repair parts using machine shop equipment and precision measuring instruments.
• Document maintenance work, parts usage, irregularities, and continuing needs in the computer system.

Requirements

• Electro-Mechanical Associate degree required.
• Ability to read machine part lists, preventive maintenance manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Proficiency with computers and CMMS systems.
• Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, motors, drives, PLCs, instrumentation, and process controls.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, alignment tools, and other measuring instruments.
• Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, high lifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts and lift up to 75 lbs.
