Product Development and Production Manager

Location: Boulder, Colorado, United States — in-office

Salary: $100,000–$140,000 per year

What you will do

• Drive apparel, equipment, and accessory products from concept approval through commercialization.
• Manage development calendars, milestones, prototypes, fit samples, wear tests, sales samples, and production samples.
• Create and maintain tech packs, bills of materials, specifications, grading, colour standards, trims, and material libraries.
• Develop custom materials and trims, coordinating sourcing, sampling, testing, approvals, and delivery.
• Build relationships with factory partners across Asia and resolve technical, quality, efficiency, and cost challenges.
• Coordinate athlete wear testing, organize feedback, and translate results into improvements to fit, durability, and functionality.

Requirements

• 4–8+ years of experience developing technical outdoor products.
• Direct experience working with overseas factories.
• Understanding of apparel construction, softgoods, and/or technical equipment.
• Ability to read and improve technical packs and manage detailed product specifications.
• Strong organization, problem-solving, and communication skills across time zones and cultures.
• Ability to work in the Boulder, Colorado office.
