Production Manager

Location: Onsite at 1600 Bridge Pkwy, Redwood City, California, United States

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the technician team, answer daily questions, conduct performance reviews, and support disciplinary actions.
• Monitor monthly production targets and optimize workflow efficiency and output.
• Act as the first point of contact for technical issues across assemblies, diagnosing and resolving production problems.
• Enforce quality standards, manufacturing procedures, and best practices.
• Participate in hiring technicians and assess candidates against production needs.
• Train and retrain technicians on manufacturing processes while maintaining a safe, organized production environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Manufacturing.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Prior management experience and experience working with diverse teams.
• Strong knowledge of quality management principles, tools, and methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, respond to urgent issues, and meet production targets.
• Effective communication skills for aligning technicians and resolving production issues.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with PCB and PCBA manufacturing processes.
• Experience with external vendors or supply chain management.
• Understanding of electromechanical system design and functionality.
• Experience with quality management software and document control systems.
