Senior Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Hollister, California, United States. Flexible onsite schedule, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday within a 5:00 AM–6:00 PM work window.

Salary: $73,100–$135,700 per year.

What you will do

• Supervise manufacturing activities and prioritize production schedules based on product introductions, equipment efficiency, and material availability.
• Prepare work schedules, workflow and value-stream maps, and production-floor resource allocations.
• Train associates on standard manufacturing processes and sustain Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost objectives.
• Lead staffing activities, including interviewing, hiring, training, performance appraisals, and work assignments.
• Coordinate production activities with support functions and communicate goals, status, and gaps through daily management meetings.
• Update standard operating procedures and drive continuous-improvement practices including standard work, Kanban, PSP, ERP, 5S, and daily management.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, communication, presentation, and instruction skills.
• Strong project management skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with technical manufacturing processes, demonstrated 5S proficiency, and experience with ISO and manufacturing or industrial safety.
• BS degree in a relevant field or more than 5 years of supervisory experience in operations.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen; the role is subject to U.S. Government export-control requirements and ITAR-related authorization conditions.
