Site Supervisor

Location: Flushing, New York, United States

Salary: $70,000–$73,000 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate daily activities involving company and temporary employees within the assigned program.
• Train, supervise, instruct, and evaluate employees on tasks, safety policies, and procedures.
• Conduct quality, service, sanitation, OSHA, and workplace safety inspections.
• Prepare pass-down, weekly, and monthly reports while maintaining training, inspection, attendance, and performance records.
• Track equipment maintenance, repairs, supplies, and inventory.
• Report personnel and customer issues, address at-risk behavior, and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements

• Six months to one year of related experience and/or training, plus a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, training, coaching, presentation, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to understand safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and write routine reports.
• Ability to supervise hiring, work assignments, performance evaluations, discipline, complaints, and employee training.
• A valid driver’s license and forklift certification may be required.
• Ability to lift or move up to 35 pounds and perform the physical functions of the role.

Nice to have

• Bilingual Spanish skills.
• Experience using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Forklift certification.
