Warehouse Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah, USA; onsite at the Fibers manufacturing site

What you will do

• Manage spare-parts inventory for the Fibers site and maintain accurate min/max quantities in the inventory management system.
• Conduct audits and cycle counts, add new inventory items, and update existing records based on usage and lead times.
• Prepare parts and tools into maintenance kits and manage rebuilds and reworks for rotating assets such as motors, rolls, pumps, and gearboxes.
• Communicate inventory, equipment status, audit results, expectations, and safety procedures across functional teams.
• Operate power equipment to move palletized freight safely throughout the warehouse.
• Support production, quality, and safety goals, including hazard analyses, safety meetings, and accident investigations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and inventory management systems.
• Problem-solving, analytical, basic math, document interpretation, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of tools, parts, industrial maintenance, and maintenance terminology.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement techniques; Lean or Six Sigma certification is preferred.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, qualifying temporary resident, refugee, or person granted asylum.

Nice to have

• Forklift experience.
• Strong understanding of industrial maintenance.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma certification.
