TL;DR
Warehouse Coordinator (Manufacturing): Coordinating daily warehouse activities, shipping and receiving, inventory transactions, employee training, and warehouse safety with an accent on material handling, ERP/Warehouse Management Systems, and operational excellence. Focus on improving warehouse processes, monitoring team KPIs, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting manufacturing logistics in an onsite shop environment.

Location: Houston, Texas, United States (TAS-Cullen HQ); onsite work in a shop and manufacturing environment

What you will do

  • Coordinate daily warehouse activities and prioritize workload under the Warehouse Supervisor's direction.
  • Support shipping and receiving, including unloading trucks with forklifts or cranes, checking merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing materials for processing.
  • Stock materials accurately in physical and electronic bin locations and record transactions in ERP and Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Train warehouse employees in material handling, identification, safety, and work instructions while maintaining training records.
  • Monitor and report team KPIs, identify process gaps, and collaborate with other departments on process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain an orderly, accessible, and safe warehouse, including cycle counts, layout updates, documentation, and housekeeping.

Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • 5+ years of related manufacturing experience and 3+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Good command of English, written and verbal, is required.
  • Warehouse ERP systems and Microsoft Office knowledge; strong computer literacy.
  • Ability to operate a forklift, interpret safety and operating documents, perform basic calculations, and prepare routine reports.
  • Ability to work onsite for up to 10 hours per day and up to 6 days per week, move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, and work in a non-air-conditioned manufacturing environment. Safety glasses and steel-toe boots are required.

  • Lean Manufacturing or Green Belt experience.
  • Dashboard, metrics, or Power BI experience.
