Industrial Maintenance Technician - 2nd shift

Location: Riceville, Iowa, United States; onsite facility maintenance role

Pay range: $20–$29.12 per hour

What you will do

• Review work orders, prioritize tasks, and complete assigned maintenance work.
• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, HVAC, and mechanical issues.
• Repair or replace damaged equipment, components, parts, wires, and hardware.
• Complete preventive maintenance on production equipment safely and on schedule.
• Operate and repair cranes, hoists, forklifts, tow motors, tractors, and other facility vehicles.
• Report repair statuses, communicate with maintenance personnel, enter data, and assist with training new employees.

Requirements

• At least six months of applicable experience or an evaluated equivalent.
• Forklift certification.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, technical procedures, and government regulations.
• Ability to perform physical work including standing, walking, climbing, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds, and pushing or pulling up to 25 pounds.
• Availability for routine shift hours, with infrequent overtime, weekend work, or shift rotation.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in Electromechanical Technology or an equivalent associate degree.
• Non-licensed maintenance electrical license.
• Knowledge of welding, metal fabrication, or technical equipment.
