Industrial Maintenance Technician - Weekend Shift

Salary: $20–$29.12 per hour, plus a $4 weekend shift differential

What you will do

• Review work orders and complete maintenance tasks according to priority.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace components in production equipment, heavy machinery, facility vehicles, and building systems.
• Diagnose electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, HVAC, and mechanical problems.
• Operate cranes, hoists, forklifts, tow motors, tractors, and other facility vehicles safely.
• Complete preventive maintenance on production equipment and enter maintenance data into the computer system.
• Report repair status, communicate with maintenance personnel, assist with heavy lifting, and train new employees.

Requirements

• At least six months of applicable experience or an evaluated equivalent.
• Forklift certification.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, technical procedures, and regulations.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, climbing, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds, and pushing or pulling up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work around dust, temperature extremes, and loud noises.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in Electromechanical Technology or an equivalent associate degree.
• Non-licensed maintenance electrical license.
• Knowledge of welding, metal fabrication, or technical equipment.
