Maintenance Technician - C-Shift (Fri-Sun 5am-5pm)

Location: Redmond, Oregon; all work must be conducted on premises. C-shift schedule: Friday–Sunday, 5:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Salary: $20.90–$31.36 per hour

What you will do

• Diagnose, repair, adjust, and maintain sheet metal machines, engines, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and other industrial manufacturing machinery.
• Troubleshoot electrical and automation faults using diagnostic tools, testing instruments, and software.
• Install and maintain motors, belt and chain drives, pulleys, shafts, bearings, couplings, and related mechanical systems.
• Maintain HVAC, air, water, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, including pumps, compressors, valves, cylinders, hoses, filters, and regulators.
• Perform basic welding-related work and use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and mathematical calculations safely.
• Collaborate with the maintenance organization to solve problems and provide operational backup.

Requirements

• Ability to work full time onsite in Redmond, Oregon, including the Friday–Sunday 5:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. shift.
• Ability to safely measure AC and DC voltage, current, and power; perform basic wiring; understand wire gauges; and apply basic NEC/UL code knowledge.
• Knowledge of mechanical drives, motors, HVAC equipment, refrigerants, VFDs, pneumatic systems, compressors, vacuum pumps, and hydraulic components.
• Ability to work in a dusty factory environment with extreme heat and cold, chemical fume exposure, and at heights exceeding 3 feet.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand or sit for up to 95% of working hours, communicate effectively, make decisions, solve problems, multitask, and work in a team.

Nice to have

• Machinist or machine, maintenance, or repair experience.
• Basic knowledge of metal materials, welding rods, welding procedures, and MIG/TIG equipment.
