Machine Repair Technician Level III (OAP) (Aerospace)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; onsite work in an active airport environment across indoor and outdoor facilities

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair airport facilities and building systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and related infrastructure.
• Lead preventive, predictive, corrective, scheduled, unscheduled, and emergency maintenance activities.
• Lead and delegate maintenance tasks while communicating with customers, airport personnel, team members, supervisors, and site leadership.
• Repair or replace equipment and components using blueprints, electrical schematics, technical manuals, and work orders.
• Perform inspections, identify potential failures, respond to service requests, and minimize equipment downtime.
• Document maintenance in a CMMS and use system data to improve equipment reliability.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to obtain the necessary airport security clearance.
• Availability for first, second, or third shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Five or more years of facilities, industrial, commercial, or maintenance operations experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings; experience with HVAC, electrical distribution, lighting, doors, plumbing, building maintenance, and CMMS preferred.
