Focus on troubleshooting high-pressure piping and process instrumentation, supporting plant startups and shutdowns, and repairing equipment at facilities and customer sites.

Location: Anchorage, Alaska, United States — Arctic Spur ASU; onsite work supporting the Anchorage Fill Plant, Palmer Facility, ASU, and customer sites.

What you will do

  • Support Air Separation Unit plant startups, shutdowns, outage repairs, and preventive maintenance.
  • Monitor and maintain cryogenic facilities, VPSA plants, pumping systems, tanks, valves, and associated instrumentation.
  • Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and test bulk tanks, cryogenic pumps, valves, and gas-repackaging equipment.
  • Perform quality control, maintain plant records, and follow safety, regulatory, production, and quality requirements.
  • Coordinate urgent maintenance actions, reliability improvements, purchasing, production accounting, and related administrative tasks.
  • Participate in on-call coverage and collaborate with operators, Field Service Technicians, managers, and customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, plus equivalent education and six months of related experience.
  • One to three years of diagnostic or repair experience in cryogenics, high-pressure piping, brazing, programmable controls, pumping systems, mechanical maintenance, or process instrumentation is preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and hands-on HVAC, plumbing, welding, or brazing experience.
  • Ability to read piping and tank details, mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and process flow diagrams.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and apply CGA, NFPA, NEC, GMP, and other applicable standards.
  • Pre-employment and random drug testing, background screening, and the ability to obtain a DOT medical card are required.
