Facilities Mechanical Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Phoenix, Arizona, United States. Shift 5: Sunday–Tuesday and alternating Wednesday, AM–PM.

Salary: $72,680–$140,590 annual target compensation for an hourly role in the United States.

What you will do

• Perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections on HVAC, plumbing, process, and other mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving pumps, piping, air handlers, boilers, chillers, heating and chilled water systems, and exhaust equipment.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Assist with mechanical system design, analysis, testing, documentation, and prototype fabrication.
• Partner with internal customers, operations teams, and drafting teams to support facility and manufacturing operations.
• Develop mechanical system roadmaps and implement improvements for expansion, renovations, capacity, redundancy, and efficiency.

Requirements

• Associate degree or trade certification in HVAC, mechanical, chemical, facilities maintenance technology, or a related technical or STEM field.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in mechanical systems, HVAC, refrigeration, water treatment, electrical or power systems, or facilities maintenance.
• 6+ years of experience with industrial HVAC systems, chilled and heating water systems, air handlers, pumps, and piping.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment and supporting large commercial facilities.
• Ability to work on-site in Phoenix, Arizona, on the specified Shift 5 schedule.

Nice to have

• Experience maintaining VOC, scrubber, and exhaust systems.
• Experience with Maximo and BMS.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification.
