Automation & Robotics Maintenance Specialist, 1st Shift (Robotics)

Location: Moorpark, California, United States; onsite, 1st shift with schedules from 6:00 a.m. to 2:40 p.m., 7:00 a.m. to 3:40 p.m., or 8:00 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. Overtime and weekends may be required.

Compensation: $34.00+/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Wittmann linear robots, Fanuc six-axis robots, and automation systems supporting injection molding operations.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and mechatronic systems to maximize equipment uptime.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on robotic, automation, and injection molding equipment.
• Maintain AC/DC electrical systems, high-voltage panels, motors, drives, sensors, controls, and automation networks.
• Use machining, CNC, fabrication, and welding skills to repair and improve automation equipment and tooling.
• Train and mentor maintenance technicians and operators on robotic systems and troubleshooting practices.

Requirements

• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting Milacron injection molding machines up to 1,500 tons.
• Strong electrical maintenance experience, including AC/DC electricity, high-voltage panels, motors, drives, and controls.
• Experience with PLCs, automation controls, mechatronics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Hands-on manual or CNC machining experience, or completion of a machinist apprenticeship.
• Manufacturing-environment experience with welding, fabrication, schematics, blueprints, and AutoCAD drawings.
• High school diploma, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and steel-toed footwear required.

• Electrician's license.
