Senior Data Product Manager (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; the company also operates hubs in San Francisco, New York City, and Chicago, with role-specific hybrid arrangements.

Annual base pay: $186,000–$252,000 for the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City; $162,000–$219,000 for all other US locations.

What you will do

• Drive product strategy and execution for core healthcare data products.
• Partner with engineers and engineering leadership on technical strategy, platform tradeoffs, and customer needs.
• Lead discovery of customer use cases and identify new product opportunities or significant enhancements.
• Document use cases, define requirements and evaluation criteria, and support high-value analysis.
• Build a prioritized, evidence-backed backlog and manage day-to-day sprint execution.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, commercial, and data engineering teams while sharing knowledge across the organization.

Requirements

• Experience in a data-focused role at a B2B technology or software company; prior product management experience is strongly valued.
• Technical depth with SQL, data models, and data pipelines, plus the ability to engage engineers on tradeoffs.
• Working knowledge of statistical data analysis and the judgment to identify its misapplication.
• Experience with US healthcare data and the questions life sciences teams bring to it.
• Ability to turn ambiguous conceptual goals into actionable requirements with clear definitions of done and quality.
• Fluency with AI tools for exploring datasets, prototyping concepts, drafting requirements, and testing reasoning.
