Transmission Project Manager/Team Lead (Electric Transmission)

Salary: $110,000–$158,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage high-voltage electric transmission line projects from proposal and initiation through execution and closeout.
• Control project scope, schedules, budgets, contracts, risks, financial performance, communications, and change management.
• Build, develop, supervise, and mentor a local transmission team while coordinating staff across the company.
• Lead quality assurance and quality control activities and ensure delivery of high-quality client services.
• Oversee related services such as routing, environmental permitting, public involvement, right-of-way acquisition, and construction management.
• Develop client relationships, support business development, and identify new transmission opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least 7 years of related experience, including a minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
• At least 4 years of transmission line design experience; distribution line design experience is an additional benefit.
• FE license required; PE license strongly preferred.
• Experience managing staff, clients, contracts, and hiring plans within an engineering consulting firm is preferred.
• Excellent organizational, project management, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across diverse design and technical teams.
