Plant Manager (Aerospace Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead operations at the world's largest high-performance aerospace honeycomb manufacturing facility.
• Develop and execute annual operating plans focused on safety, environmental performance, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, data-driven decision-making, and disciplined cost management.
• Oversee supply chain performance, cash management, production planning, and ERP-enabled manufacturing processes.
• Analyze operational and financial performance metrics, including plant-level cost and P&L results.
• Build an engaged workforce and represent operations in discussions with global teams, customers, suppliers, and the local community.

Requirements

• BS or BA degree required, preferably in engineering, chemistry, or a related technical or scientific discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in a multi-shift, multi-product manufacturing environment, preferably in continuous-run material processing, or 5 years of experience in the honeycomb composites industry.
• Experience leading teams, managing change, solving operational problems, making decisions, and working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, qualifying temporary resident, refugee, or person granted asylum.
• Strong customer-service orientation, integrity, work ethic, organizational skills, and visible production-floor leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience with lean, Six Sigma, participative work teams, communications, performance measures, and continuous improvement.
• Aerospace industry experience, including familiarity with the AS9100 quality standard.
• Cross-functional experience with marketing, sales, customer service, and research and technology teams.
• Supply chain management, systems, cost modeling, and plant-level P&L experience.
