Maintenance Tech I - 2nd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Dodge Center, Minnesota, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $20–$28.34 per hour, plus a $2 per hour 2nd-shift differential

McNeilus, an hirify.global company, designs and manufactures refuse truck bodies for waste collection fleets.

What you will do

• Review work orders, prioritize tasks, and complete preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Repair or replace damaged components, equipment, and parts.
• Operate cranes, hoists, forklifts, tow motors, tractors, and other facility vehicles safely.
• Report repair statuses, enter maintenance data, and communicate with maintenance personnel.
• Assist coworkers with heavy lifting and help train new employees.

Requirements

• At least six months of applicable experience or an evaluated equivalent.
• Forklift certification.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, technical procedures, and regulations.
• Ability to perform physical work including standing, walking, climbing, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds, and working around dust, temperature extremes, and loud noises.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in Electromechanical Technology or an equivalent associate degree.
• Non-licensed maintenance electrical license.
• Knowledge of welding, metal fabrication, or technical equipment.
