Maintenance Tech II (HVAC)

Location: Redmond, Oregon, United States; all work must be conducted on premises.

Pay range: $22.99–$34.49 per hour.

What you will do

• Diagnose, repair, adjust, and maintain industrial manufacturing machinery using technical diagrams, manuals, hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls, automation issues, and machinery faults using diagnostic equipment and software.
• Install and maintain mechanical systems, including motors, belt and chain drives, bearings, shafts, couplings, and pumps.
• Maintain HVAC equipment, including refrigerant systems, filters, VFDs, controls, and related air and water systems.
• Install, adjust, and repair pneumatic and hydraulic components such as hoses, valves, cylinders, regulators, seals, compressors, and vacuum pumps.
• Work collaboratively in a fast-paced factory environment, including dusty conditions, temperature extremes, chemical fume exposure, and work at heights exceeding 3 feet.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a maintenance organization.
• Ability to safely use basic power tools, measuring tapes, and mathematical calculations.
• Knowledge of AC/DC electrical measurement, basic wiring, wire gauges, and NEC/UL codes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and sit or stand for up to 95% of working hours.
• Ability to work safely with HVAC, pneumatic, hydraulic, and industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Nice to have

• Machinist or machine, maintenance, and repair experience.
• Basic knowledge of metal materials, welding rods, MIG and TIG equipment, and welding procedures.
