Maintenance Mechanic-1st and 2nd Shift Opportunities

Location: Minooka, Illinois, United States; onsite production and warehouse environment. First shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Second shift: Monday–Friday, 3:30 p.m.–12:00 a.m.

Salary: $31–$35 per hour, plus an annual incentive plan and benefits.

What you will do

• Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime.
• Respond to production line calls and collaborate with production and other departments.
• Fabricate or adjust parts, equipment, and tools to meet specifications.
• Manage tools, parts, and supplies inventory and document maintenance activities.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience with industrial voltages up to 480V and EAM CMMS systems.
• Ability to use micrometers, calipers, DMMs, and other measuring tools.
• Ability to work in a production environment, stand and walk throughout the shift, lift up to 30 lbs., and provide personal tools.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of ladder logic, relay logic, and motor controls.
• Experience with metal fabrication and modular equipment movement.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and digital communication tools.
