Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid

Base salary: $125K–$160K per year, plus equity. Compensation depends on experience level.

What you will do

• Build and ship features for AI-powered voice experiences.
• Debug issues from real patient calls and improve system behavior.
• Work with transcription, LLM, and API components of a production voice stack.
• Improve latency, reliability, and conversation quality.
• Contribute to testing, monitoring, and observability.
• Collaborate with product to improve the user experience.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills, with Python preferred.
• Experience building backend systems, APIs, or services handling real user requests.
• Product mindset with attention to user experience and outcomes.
• Comfort with ambiguity, problem-solving, and a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Exposure to AI/ML or LLM-based applications.
• Experience with real-time systems or APIs.
• Interest in voice systems or conversational AI.
• Experience at a startup or on a small team.
