Material Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Krakow, Poland; hybrid work with 47 remote days per year

hirify.global designs electrical distribution systems for vehicles, robotics, energy platforms, and other electrified, automated, and connected products.

What you will do

• Develop, verify, improve, and implement polymer formulations for automotive cable extrusion.
• Coordinate and conduct tests according to customer specifications and international standards, including non-standard and ad hoc testing.
• Create, collect, enter, store, and maintain product and manufacturing documentation, including data, drawings, and specifications.
• Maintain and create M-specifications for bulk materials such as tapes, tubes, and cables.
• Collaborate with hardware, material, and cable engineers across regions, technical centers, plants, and Customer Service teams in E/EA.
• Communicate with suppliers, apply quality systems, follow Internal Control and HSE standards, and report progress to the Supervisor.

Requirements

• Technical university degree, preferably in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience.
• Knowledge of plastics processing and familiarity with technical or material documentation and standards.
• Very good Microsoft Office skills.
• Fluent English required.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member.
