Mechanical Design Engineer-II (m/f/d)

Location: Remote in Poland; travel up to 20% within the territory, including overnight travel.

What you will do

• Produce drawings, calculations, data sheets, procedures, and other engineering documentation for quotations, customer orders, manufacturing, and suppliers.
• Design and detail mechanical products with cross-functional teams, focusing on safety, reliability, robustness, manufacturability, operation, and maintenance.
• Support manufacturing to maintain consistent output, quality, and costs.
• Lead and participate in technical clarification meetings with internal groups, customers, and suppliers.
• Lead and participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities related to product technical issues.
• Improve products and processes through continuous improvement and VAVE initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in relevant engineering disciplines.
• Knowledge of mechanical design principles for pressure vessels, hydraulic systems, and process systems according to international standards.
• Knowledge of international drawing standards such as BS8888, ANSI Y14.5, or an equivalent global standard.
• Good 2D and 3D CAD knowledge, plus understanding of welding, machining, forming, molding/casting, and sealing mechanisms.
• Very good communication skills in English and Polish; ability to travel up to 20% and hold a valid driver’s license.
