Mechanical Design Engineer (Middle+ / Senior)

Location: Poznań or Niš; remote work is offered

What you will do

• Design mechanical parts, assemblies, and subsystems in 3D CAD using SolidWorks.
• Develop physical products from concept through production-ready design, release, verification, and production support.
• Create and maintain drawings, BOMs, assembly and test documentation, and engineering changes.
• Apply GD&T, tolerance analysis, tolerance stack-ups, DFM, and DFA principles.
• Select materials and manufacturing processes while balancing performance, cost, reliability, manufacturability, and schedule.
• Collaborate with electronics, industrial design, manufacturing, suppliers, quality, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Middle+ or Senior-level hands-on experience in mechanical design and 3D CAD.
• Experience developing real physical products through manufacturing, assembly, and testing.
• Practical knowledge of machining, sheet metal, and injection molding.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, DFM/DFA, and production-ready engineering documentation.
• Ability to conduct and interpret FEA simulations, perform engineering calculations, and make data-driven design decisions.
• Experience with DFMEA, risk analysis, verification and validation, and independently driving mechanical tasks to completion.

Nice to have

• Experience with electromechanical integration or dynamic mechanisms.
• Experience with CFD, dynamic simulation, or optical-mechanical design.
• Experience with NPI, production ramp-up, cost optimization, casting, or forming.
