Maintenance Mechanic 1

Location: Casa Grande, Arizona, USA; onsite manufacturing facility

Salary: $34.15 per hour during the 90-day new hire orientation period, increasing to $35.95 per hour, plus a $1.75 per hour shift premium.

What you will do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and facility systems.
• Disassemble equipment and repair or replace faulty components using mechanical hand tools.
• Complete mechanical repairs and improvements across processes, fixtures, equipment, and unit operations.
• Install and commission new or modified production equipment as a millwright and fabricate replacement parts when needed.
• Replace hydraulic, pneumatic, and interchangeable components, including bearings, sprockets, chains, belts, shafts, and cylinders.
• Repair and replace pumps and perform basic pipefitting, plumbing, threading, and layout work.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or a technical degree that may substitute for one year of experience.
• At least one year of mechanic or mechanical maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of computers and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, and to write routine reports.
• Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry and solve practical mechanical problems.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, qualifying temporary resident, refugee, or person granted asylum.

• Work a rotating T4 2x2x5x5 overnight shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
