Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Riverside, California, USA; onsite role

Salary: $28.00–$32.00 per hour, plus eligibility for overtime.

What you will do

• Rebuild, overhaul, inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair industrial production and facility equipment.
• Maintain and repair automated CNC lathes and mills, including alignment and precision adjustments.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and complete maintenance work orders.
• Read schematics, prints, and electrical diagrams to identify equipment faults.
• Research procedures and create documentation for new equipment installations and unusual maintenance events.
• Support outside contractors, hazardous waste disposal, housekeeping, and 5S activities.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Either 7 years of relevant industrial, automated systems, metal fabrication, or equipment maintenance experience, or a relevant two-year technical degree plus 5 years of experience.
• Experience or ability to complete formal training on automated equipment and facility tools, including CNC lathes and mills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Ability to work at heights of up to 35 feet, lift materials up to 40 pounds, and work in tight spaces.

Nice to have

• Advanced mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience with CNC lathes and vertical mills, robotic welders, rotomold equipment, powered industrial trucks, laser cutting machines, manual welders, and paint line equipment.
• Special Engineer State of Minnesota Low Pressure Boiler License.
