Maintenance Technician (MEP Systems)

Location: Marlborough, Massachusetts, United States; onsite, full-time

Salary: $32–$35 per hour, plus eligibility for bonus or incentive pay

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Maintain electrical distribution, HVAC, plumbing, boilers, compressors, pumps, and utility systems in a laboratory facility environment.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify maintenance and repair needs.
• Document maintenance activities in the CMMS.
• Respond to equipment alarms, breakdowns, and facility emergencies to restore safe operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 5 years of experience as a facilities or skilled trades maintenance technician in a manufacturing or laboratory environment.
• Working knowledge of at least two areas including electrical systems, HVAC-R, plumbing or pipefitting, boilers or steam systems, wastewater systems, pumps, controls, or RODI/WFI.
• Ability to work independently in a regulated environment and respond effectively to facility and utility issues.

Nice to have

• BMS experience, preferably Metasys.
• Laboratory facility experience.
• CMMS experience, preferably Infor EAM.
