Senior Director, Operational Technology Practice Lead (Utilities)

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States; travel up to 30% required.

Salary: USD 200,000–280,000 per year, plus potential participation in an annual discretionary bonus program.

What you will do

• Lead revenue generation, client relationship management, account growth, and business development for the Operational Technology practice.
• Own sales, revenue, profit, contract, cost, project management, and delivery quality objectives.
• Develop and operationalize the practice strategy, staffing plan, industry offerings, sales collateral, and go-to-market initiatives.
• Oversee proposals, RFP responses, delivery methodologies, and large-scale technical project execution.
• Coach and mentor senior consulting resources while supporting recruiting and leadership development.
• Manage strategic relationships with software companies and solution providers, including joint proposals, marketing, and thought leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Management, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 15+ years of experience in technical organizations, including significant leadership or management experience.
• Demonstrated success in strategic planning, budget management, and aligning technical initiatives with business objectives.
• Experience managing and delivering large-scale technical projects and programs.
• Strong technical, leadership, communication, interpersonal, decision-making, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to travel up to 30% is required.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering utility technology solutions such as ADMS, EMS, SCADA, AMI, or OMS.
• Experience with cloud technologies and microservice-based architectures.
• Power distribution or distribution network experience.
• PMP certification.
