Sr Manager - IT for Dispatch and Real-Time Trading

Location: Hybrid in Baltimore, Maryland; Houston, Texas; De Pere, Wisconsin; Warrenville, Illinois; Chicago, Illinois; or Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, United States

Salary: $174,600–$194,000 annually, depending on experience, plus bonus and comprehensive benefits.

What you will do

• Develop strategic technology plans and investment strategies with IT leadership and business units.
• Lead a team of IT professionals serving as the primary technology partner for business stakeholders.
• Translate business processes and requirements into technology solutions, product strategies, and project priorities.
• Manage the maintenance, support, and enhancement of applications and systems for dispatch and real-time trading.
• Oversee projects, vendor relationships, contracts, and an annual IT budget exceeding $8 million.
• Lead teams supporting SCADA, Real-Time, EMS, GMS, and Historian systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience.
• Supervisory or managerial experience, including leadership, management, or project management.
• Strong technical, analytical, consulting, organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical information to technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Deep knowledge of foundational business processes and experience managing IT teams and services.
• Experience in electric utilities or power generation, wholesale energy markets, and highly regulated NERC CIP environments.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a technical field.
• 10 years of supervisor or management experience.
• Master’s degree in Information Systems.
• Experience with OSI Monarch and OSIsoft PI Historian.
• Knowledge of ERCOT, MISO, ISO-NE, and PJM markets.
