Implementation Specialist, EHR - NYC

Location: Hybrid in New York City, New York, with periodic travel to customer sites

hirify.global is partnering with an early-stage, well-capitalized behavioral health EHR startup building AI-native healthcare infrastructure.

What you will do

• Own multiple EHR implementations from contract signature through go-live and stabilization.
• Lead customer implementation projects, including timelines, milestones, risks, and stakeholder communication.
• Configure roles, permissions, security settings, forms, templates, workflows, and operational settings.
• Translate clinical, operational, and billing workflows into scalable system configurations.
• Lead workshops and training for clinical, medical, operations, intake, scheduling, revenue cycle, and frontline teams.
• Manage data migration, validation, user acceptance testing, go-live readiness, and collaboration with Product and Engineering.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in EHR implementation, healthcare technology implementation, healthcare consulting, or a similar client-facing role.
• Experience implementing EHR, practice management, healthcare operations, or other complex workflow-driven software.
• Hands-on system configuration experience with forms, workflows, permissions, templates, user roles, and operational settings.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating clinical or operational workflows into system design.
• Experience with enterprise implementations or complex customer environments involving multiple stakeholder groups.
• Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, ownership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• Behavioral health experience.
• Experience migrating customers from legacy EHR systems.
• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability, EDI, claims, eligibility, or payer workflows.
