Field Service Technician II (Deployable) (Aerospace): Installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying aerospace and ISR equipment while providing technical support and customer training with an accent on troubleshooting, electrical systems, and field deployment. Focus on diagnosing complex technical issues, supporting hardware and software changes, maintaining equipment records, and deploying to OCONUS locations on a 90/90 rotation.
Location: Hurlburt Field, Florida, United States; frequent travel and deployment to OCONUS locations worldwide on an approximate 90/90 rotation.

What you will do
- Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify aerospace and ISR equipment.
- Provide rapid technical support, problem assessment, and corrective actions for customer field units.
- Document customer interactions and implement approved hardware, software, firmware, and training changes.
- Perform maintenance tasks with minimal supervision and follow shift-lead priorities.
- Travel and deploy to remote OCONUS locations, including extended assignments and short-notice travel.
- Build customer relationships and provide onsite equipment training.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED equivalent, or a higher relevant degree.
- At least 1 year of technician or related experience; relevant higher education may substitute for experience.
- Basic understanding of technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, publications, electrical wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.
- U.S. citizenship and a current or obtainable U.S. Government Secret security clearance are required. Employment begins after the clearance is granted.
- Ability to meet DoD and Combatant Command deployment requirements and pass a pre-deployment medical assessment.
- Willingness to work extended hours, holidays, and shifts; obtain a valid passport and international travel visas.
Nice to have
- Associate's degree in a related field.
- FCC or FCC General Radio Operator License (GROL).
- Security+, Network+, CCNA, or A+ certification.
- Experience with spectrometers, oscilloscopes, Pitot Static equipment gauges, and technical equipment software or firmware updates.
- Aerospace, defense, U.S. Department of Defense, or military experience, plus strong customer service and communication skills.
