Maintenance Mechanic 1 - ACAP CG2 (Advanced Composites)

Location: Casa Grande, Arizona, USA; onsite grave shift from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday–Friday, with overtime as required.

Salary: $34.15 per hour during the new hire orientation period, increasing to $35.95 per hour after normally 90 calendar days, plus a $1.75 per hour grave-shift premium.

What you will do

• Maintain, analyze, repair, and improve Acousti-Cap equipment and processes.
• Disassemble equipment and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
• Diagnose machine malfunctions, align fixtures and tools, and monitor machining operations.
• Repair and replace pumps, bearings, sprockets, chains, belts, shafts, cylinders, and other interchangeable parts.
• Perform basic pipefitting, plumbing, threading, and layout work.
• Complete equipment checks and prescribed preventive maintenance to keep production within specification.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of mechanic or mechanical maintenance experience; an applicable technical degree may substitute for one year of experience.
• Working knowledge of computers and a valid driver license.
• Ability to read safety rules, maintenance instructions, blueprints, and technical drawings, and write routine reports.
• Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry, calculate dimensions and tolerances, and solve practical mechanical problems.
