Location: Blaine, Minnesota, United States; hybrid

Salary: $89,300–$165,800 annually, with potential eligibility for additional annual incentives.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and commission automated manufacturing production lines.
• Evaluate, define, and optimize manufacturing processes and systems to improve safety, quality, OEE, production rates, yields, costs, changeovers, and process capability.
• Develop electrical and mechanical machine designs, technical requirements, and specifications for custom equipment vendors.
• Lead vendor selection and implementation of automation systems and manufacturing methods across multiple sites.
• Research and introduce new manufacturing technologies, including vision systems and machine learning.
• Implement in-process inspections and statistical process controls while collaborating with multifunctional teams and global leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, industrial technology, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience developing factory automation systems and scaling them across an enterprise.
• Hands-on experience developing custom automated solutions and/or robotic systems; ABB or Fanuc experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with control systems, PLCs, and control components; Siemens or Allen-Bradley experience is preferred.
• Ability to influence non-technical leaders, evaluate automated solutions, benchmark performance, and execute projects.
• Experience developing multi-year process strategies.
