Salary: $69,600–$104,400 per year, plus eligibility for a short-term incentive plan.

What you will do

  • Provide day-to-day electrical and controls engineering support for manufacturing equipment and automation systems.
  • Troubleshoot machine controls, PLCs, HMIs, vision systems, robotics, and related automation technologies.
  • Investigate equipment failures and process issues through root cause analysis to reduce downtime.
  • Support equipment design reviews, installations, commissioning, qualifications, and validation activities, including FATs, SATs, and IQ protocols.
  • Update electrical schematics, component lists, equipment specifications, software backups, operating instructions, and change records.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, EHS, suppliers, and other functional teams on safety, quality, productivity, reliability, and OEE improvements.

Requirements

  • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at the time of hire and throughout employment; sponsorship is not available for this role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 0–2 years of engineering experience; internships, co-ops, senior projects, research, and hands-on technical experience may be considered.
  • Basic understanding of electrical and controls engineering principles, with the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, plus the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to PLC programming, HMI development, robotics, vision systems, or industrial automation.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or electrical design software.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment troubleshooting, and machine safety principles.
