Focus on deconflicting complex schedules, preparing secure meetings and travel, coordinating across internal and external stakeholders, and maintaining accurate records and action tracking.

Location: McLean, Virginia, in the Northern Virginia area; onsite support for the US Government.

Salary: $100,000–$140,000 per year

What you will do

  • Proactively manage and deconflict the principal’s calendar, schedule items, and unscheduled demands.
  • Prepare the principal for meetings by compiling briefing books, background materials, packages, and key details.
  • Serve as a liaison with Agency, Intelligence Community, internal, and external contacts using tact, diplomacy, and discretion.
  • Draft, format, proofread, route, and track correspondence and related documents on behalf of the principal.
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, visitor access, security requirements, travel itineraries, transportation, and lodging.
  • Manage office operations, records, reporting, training reminders, and administrative action tracking.

Requirements

  • Current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
  • Four to five years of progressively responsible administrative support experience, including one to two years supporting executives.
  • Working knowledge of mission priorities, Agency/IC structures, regulations, policies, protocols, and administrative processes.
  • Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely about moderately complex technical and administrative matters.
  • High school diploma or GED required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
