Salary: $82,000–$115,000 per year, based on experience, education, and skills

What you will do

• Provide technical guidance on metals, coatings, and sealants across multiple manufacturing facilities.
• Investigate and resolve plant production issues related to material performance, critical defects, and customer complaints.
• Lead material-related projects, including trials, testing, and implementation initiatives.
• Prepare and evaluate test materials and finished containers for quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with suppliers and plant teams through technical meetings and troubleshooting activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in product quality, material performance, and manufacturing efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials, Engineering, Chemistry, Food Packaging, or a related field.
• Experience or academic exposure to organic coatings, lithography, sealants, or similar materials.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations, quality troubleshooting, or material performance improvement.
• Experience with material trials, testing, or technical projects.
• Ability to collaborate with plant teams, suppliers, and engineering groups across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, and Microsoft Office skills.
