Head of Foresight and Strategic Growth (f/m/d) (AI)

What you will do

• Provide professional and disciplinary leadership, building team capabilities and enabling high-impact delivery.
• Identify and assess relevant trends and technologies, prioritize strategic topics, and translate insights into growth opportunities.
• Monitor technology-driven regulatory, political, social, and economic developments and evaluate their strategic relevance.
• Own the multi-agent foresighting AI tool, coordinating with IT, AI experts, business groups, R&D, and business development.
• Lead the venturing unit and manage incubation, venture clienting, startup collaboration, and external innovation ecosystem activities.
• Transform foresight topics into growth-field platforms and help execute strategic growth initiatives with FTI leadership.

Requirements

• University degree in engineering, natural sciences, business administration, innovation management, or a comparable field.
• Several years of professional and leadership experience in strategy, foresight, innovation, venturing, R&D, or technology management.
• Proven experience identifying strategic growth topics and driving their implementation.
• Sound understanding of digital and AI-enabled tools and data-driven approaches.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, presentation, entrepreneurial, and execution skills.
• Fluent communication skills in English and German are required.

• PhD or MBA.
• Strong network in relevant innovation, technology, or industry communities.
• Additional language skills.
