Program Quality Engineer II (Aerospace) (AS9100/ISO 9001): Leading quality improvement initiatives and corrective actions across aerospace production processes with an accent on statistical analysis, audits, and compliance with military and industry standards. Focus on analyzing nonconformance data, refining quality processes, and supporting peer reviews through GD&T and MBSE.
Location: Dayton, Ohio, United States; onsite. U.S. citizenship is required because the position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

What you will do
- Lead quality improvement initiatives across the production lifecycle.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
- Design and refine processes that improve product quality and production efficiency.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and change requests for quality compliance.
- Manage nonconformance data and support lean and Six Sigma improvement programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience; without a degree, at least 6 years of related experience is required.
- At least 2 years of experience as a quality engineer or in a related field.
- Knowledge and practical use of AS9100, ISO 9001, military standards, and statutory specifications.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and quality management systems.
- Leadership and project management skills, plus knowledge of GD&T and MBSE.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
Nice to have
- Aerospace and defense industry experience.
- Certified Auditor credentials or equivalent experience.
- Experience with external audits, statistical analysis, and Microsoft Office or databases.
- Six Sigma Green Belt.
