Quality Engineer II (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Maintain compliance with quality system regulations, ISO standards, standard operating procedures, and customer requirements.
• Apply quality engineering methods to new and existing products, production processes, and product or process changes.
• Lead containment, corrective and preventive action, root-cause investigation, and defect-reduction activities.
• Support supplier quality actions, customer and warranty return evaluations, non-conforming material disposition, and complaint resolution.
• Represent Quality in process development, quality planning, FMEA, risk analysis, and IQ/OQ/PQ validation activities.
• Train inspectors and manufacturing personnel while leading or participating in internal and external quality system audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in quality, engineering, or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of statistical techniques for assembly and manufacturing, process capability, measurement system analysis, and statistical process control.
• Experience with risk management, root-cause investigation, Lean and Six Sigma tools, and troubleshooting complex systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is relevant.
• Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and maintain accurate quality documentation.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt, CQE, CQA, or Lead Auditor certification.
• AutoCAD or SolidWorks experience.
• Blueprint reading, basic metrology, and GD&T experience.
