Quality Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Casa Grande, Arizona, USA; onsite. Eligible candidates must have qualifying U.S. citizenship, nationality, permanent residence, or other specified U.S. immigration status.

What you will do

• Review customer and internal specifications and ensure compliance with applicable quality requirements.
• Investigate quality nonconformances and recommend or implement corrective actions using cross-functional teams.
• Analyze quality data and prepare periodic reports for management.
• Conduct factory, supplier, customer, and internal process audits, including root-cause and corrective-action evaluation.
• Develop programs supporting consistent manufacturing quality improvement and supplier requirement flow-down.
• Support AS9100, NADCAP, ISO 14001, safety, and site quality-system compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 3 years of engineering experience, preferably in quality and manufacturing.
• Experience with problem-solving tools such as 9P, 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone Diagram.
• Working knowledge of statistical methods, SPC, AS9100, ISO 9001, and/or NADCAP standards.
• Ability to present quality data to customers and stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Must meet the stated U.S. employment eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace manufacturing and composite materials.
• Lean manufacturing experience.
• AS9100 or ISO 9001 auditor certification, CQE certification, or Six Sigma certification.
• Familiarity with determining human factors.
