Salary: USD $99,091–$142,001.60 per year, with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Plan, design, and provide construction support for electrical substation projects.
• Perform and review structural engineering calculations and design drawings within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Lead civil/structural engineering design teams with limited oversight.
• Coordinate project resources and manage multiple projects, client deadlines, budgets, and schedules.
• Prepare project proposals and cost estimates and support client relations.
• Serve as Engineer of Record for assigned projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• At least five years of structural engineering experience in the utility industry.
• Experience leading small- to medium-sized civil/structural engineering design teams.
• Strong oral and written communication, analytical thinking, planning, organization, and independent decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with Risa3D, Risa Foundation, Mathcad, Mat3D, SAP2000, STAAD, AutoCAD, LPile, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
• Detailed knowledge of applicable ACI, AISC, ASCE, ASTM, ANSI, API, IBC, OSHA, and PIP codes and standards.
