Senior R&D Engineering Project Manager

Location: Anoka, Minnesota, United States; hybrid

Salary: $89,300–$165,800 annually, with potential eligibility for additional annual incentives.

What you will do

• Lead New Product Introduction projects through the stage-gate process from discovery and development to deployment and launch.
• Coordinate project schedules and partner with engineers and designers on product design activities.
• Lead cross-functional coordination across project management, engineering, operations, supply, quality, compliance, and related functions.
• Direct regulatory and third-party testing activities for branded platform products and customer-specific applications.
• Manage a portfolio of projects, track KPIs, escalate roadblocks, and implement structured risk mitigation plans.
• Improve project and product development processes to reduce cycle time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• At least 5 years of related engineering experience, including 2 or more years of project management or team leadership experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 tools, including SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to provide work direction, improve team efficiency, establish open communication, and resolve problems.
• Ability to promote knowledge sharing, strengthen technical capability, and support process improvements.
• Approximately 10% domestic travel is required, with potential international travel.

Nice to have

• Experience with the Atlassian Suite, including Jira and Confluence, for backlog management, progress tracking, and reporting.
