Project Manager (Heavy Industrial)

Location: North Kingstown, Rhode Island, United States; onsite five days per week, typically 7:00am–4:00pm ET, with possible weekend assignments during construction.

Salary: $93,216.59–$106,533.25 per year.

What you will do

• Lead and support capital program management and owner’s representative assignments.
• Manage project phases including budgeting, planning, design, bidding, construction, commissioning, move management planning, and closeout.
• Monitor design and construction activities for contractual, quality, safety, schedule, and budget compliance.
• Develop and maintain budgets, cash-flow analyses, cost estimates, purchase orders, change orders, invoices, and project schedules.
• Identify risks and potential liabilities, forecast challenges, and define solutions.
• Maintain client, consultant, contractor, and vendor relationships while mentoring project team members and resolving conflicts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
• 7+ years of experience managing heavy-industrial projects.
• Proven knowledge of project management techniques, concepts, principles, and standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including communication with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience supervising people, including recruitment, training, performance management, and professional development.
• High proficiency with Microsoft applications, including MS Project and SharePoint, plus experience with project management software.
