Cloud Architect Engineer (Azure)

What you will do

• Design scalable, multi-tenant SaaS architecture from data ingestion through cloud services and customer-facing reporting.
• Define infrastructure patterns for multi-tenancy, data isolation, scalability, and security.
• Evaluate cloud technologies and document architectural decisions for long-term maintainability.
• Build, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure and backend components.
• Design reliable, secure, and scalable data pipelines connecting customer environments to the cloud.
• Establish CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, monitoring, observability, and production reliability practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and building cloud-native systems end to end.
• Experience processing high volumes of operational data and deploying databases at scale.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, service boundaries, failure modes, and resilience patterns.
• Experience integrating cloud platforms with on-premises or operationally constrained environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, .NET, and SQL Server; knowledge of cloud-agnostic design is beneficial.
• Ability to communicate architectural decisions clearly and make sound decisions in ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Background in industrial, IoT, or manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with SaaS patterns including multi-tenancy, customer data isolation, and subscription-based delivery.
