Lead Process Tech (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Monitor and control production processes to maintain efficiency and first-quality output.
• Set up production lines for start-up and complete required style changes.
• Monitor material specifications and adjust process settings as needed.
• Inspect line function from raw material input through finished material output, identifying equipment and process deviations.
• Coordinate production issues with maintenance and management and conduct regular quality inspections.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to support safety, quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or certification is preferred.
• Manufacturing experience, preferably in plastics extrusion, nonwovens, or paper manufacturing.
• Experience entering production information into databases and ERP systems.
• Strong teamwork, communication, attention to detail, problem-solving, and procedural compliance skills.
• Forklift experience is required; basic math skills and the ability to read a ruler and understand fractions are required.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds and remain standing or seated for most of the shift.
