Mechanical Lead (Manufacturing)

hirify.global's TAS division engineers and manufactures packaged modular systems for data centers, power, and commercial and industrial utility applications.

What you will do

• Lead small- to medium-sized mechanical assembly groups and mentor new personnel.
• Manage shop assembly activities through daily and weekly work plans.
• Maintain project status reports, track KPIs, and monitor budgeted labor hours.
• Support supervisors in enforcing standards and complying with safety regulations.
• Plan work proactively to prevent recordable safety incidents and support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of mechanical assembly experience in a similar environment; 3+ years is preferred.
• High school diploma.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and P&IDs.
• Experience with hand tools, torque wrenches, power tools, and basic shop equipment.
• Ability to operate a forklift, overhead crane, and man lift.
• Ability to manage priorities, meet production schedules, and communicate effectively with teams and supervisors.

Nice to have

• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.
