Location: Salt Lake City, UT, United States. Onsite operations role with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., extended hours as needed, and up to 20% travel with overnight stays.

What you will do

  • Direct and coordinate specialty gas laboratory, fill plant, manufacturing, and distribution operations.
  • Manage plant and distribution managers, including assigning work, evaluating performance, training employees, and resolving personnel issues.
  • Plan production activities, establish priorities, and optimize the use of machinery and equipment.
  • Resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to minimize costs and prevent delays.
  • Oversee cylinder inventory and collaborate with sales, Human Resources, vendors, and senior leadership on operational and customer issues.
  • Conduct audits and provide training on standard operating procedures and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in the bulk or industrial gas industry, or equivalent experience in a chemical, gas, or related production environment.
  • High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with FDA, OSHA, DOT, EPA, hazardous materials, cylinder markings, pressure ratings, placarding, and related regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to interpret technical procedures and regulations, analyze production data, write reports and procedures, and present information to managers, customers, and the public.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation for customer-site travel, strong communication skills, and the ability to delegate and direct multiple operational departments.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% with overnight stays as needed.
