Operations Supervisor (Energy Infrastructure)

Location: Onsite in Pasadena, Texas, United States. The facility operates 24/7, including weekend, night, and holiday shifts.

What you will do

• Direct and schedule union and non-union workforces supporting bulk liquid storage, handling, and related equipment operations.
• Oversee pumping commodities into and out of storage tanks through truck and rail transportation modes.
• Maintain safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible facility operations, including heating systems, boilers, and electric heat tracing.
• Respond to injuries, product releases, fires, property damage, and other incidents; serve as Incident Commander until relieved.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance, preventive repairs, operating orders, time worksheets, overtime, and required documentation.
• Schedule and supervise employee training, field evaluations, operational improvements, and efficiency initiatives.

Requirements

• At least two years of leadership or management experience in a dynamic environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, initiative, and the ability to lead teams independently.
• Ability to respond to emergencies, work between industrial and office environments, and make accurate decisions under pressure.
• Availability to work outside scheduled shifts as business needs require, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
• Successful completion of a mandatory drug screen, background check, and TWIC credential process is required at the start of employment.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Working knowledge of flammable liquids.
• Experience managing a union workforce.
