What you will do

• Direct service and operational programs, initiatives, systems, policies, procedures, and work standards for the assigned facility.
• Set the facility's strategic direction and prepare and administer its budget.
• Plan, organize, review, and evaluate the work of assigned staff while developing effective teams.
• Lead operational, monthly, and cross-functional meetings and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and organizational policies.
• Analyze and report operational and service metrics to senior leadership and recommend improvements.
• Manage special projects, investigate incidents and exposures, anticipate litigation risks, and recommend remediation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, operations, or a closely related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Seven years of managerial experience, unless substituted by an equivalent background.
• Expert knowledge of service and operational administration, program development, budgeting, employee management, and applicable laws and regulations.
• Advanced ability to develop and motivate teams, deliver oral presentations, prepare reports, and manage programs.
• Correct business English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
• Ability to work in a laboratory and office environment with exposure to chemicals, fumes, gases, and noxious odors.
